When someone says to you "Yeah, we have to catch up sometime!" and you instinctively know that they either don't mean it, or that it will never happen (because it's never happened before), do you think:
a) That it is a positive reflection on humanity that we still mean the best by saying what we say, even though we know it won't happen, we still maintain hope that one day it will happen; or
b) It reflects the way we lie to ourselves and each other every day, the treacherous nature of our innermost thoughts and desires and/or our inability to break from social norms?
Just wondering. :)
